Wrappin' it Up!

The last of season shots for this young man!

who just happens to pose very well by old vehicles!

After battling weather and sports schedules for both our families, we were finally able to meet - and lo and behold, my yard satisfied all our needs. ... Check out Doug's place of business in the upper right horizon!

ahhhh - timeless moments.
multi generations.
a life just beginning and one well-lived.
max & great papa.

Ok,  I can't help it - 'tis the season,
and this is one of my favorite photos -
not to mention one of my favorite sons!

What a great day! ... not only a past teacher, but a family member was one of my first students when I began at the WHS system, PLUS a fantastic day to WALK FOR CANCER!

Seniors

Seniors!  How exciting to be part of THEIR special year!
I had SO much fun!  Thanks guys!

I had so many great photo opportunities this summer.
To these families and people I am thankful!  Working
with families was so heart-warming; My own little circle
of family is so tiny that the energy and warmth from these
lovely people sucked me in!  This is Janet and "her men!"

Grandpa's Edsel

It has been a while since there's been an update so, I, Kaitlin, figured I could take the matter into my own hands. Mom still seems to be caught in the whirlwind of summer even as it winds down. She's been a busy bee finishing up some packages and putting together portfolios.

Recently Mom took a trip down to Madison for a family reunion. As it ends up there was another little reunion in store for us to feast our eyes upon..check it out.
This is my Grandpa Beaumont, proud owner:

I absolutely love this photograph, it's timeless.

Makes for some great graphic shots.

just think of those Sunday afternoon drives...

Now, wasn't that a nice little treat? :)
Have a relaxing Labor day!

Summer began with a trip to Moosejaw, Saskatchewan. This prairie scene flew by our vehicle enroute to destination ... Kaitlin was kind enough to pull over on our way home. It has it all - red barn, babbling crook, rolling hills, pastureland. A train chugging by on the tracks would have been icing on the cake!

About Me

My photo
Wheaton, MN
Eyes-wide-open photographer*creativity with flair* passion for photo-journaling*need to capture instant moments*shoot once in a life time seconds*freeze frame incredible people-children-events- creatures-and the world surrounding. God given talents of God given people and nature around us. At 8 yrs old in the backyard, mom's old Brownie box camera in hand, posing blonde head barbies in stylish RMS tinfoil dress designs among flowers...my photos began. From the Brownie to the flipflash to the cubeflash ... I have evolved! ... albums worth! Photography, to me, is a joy. People requesting my work has been an accidental happening. I do not claim to be a professional. I am not. A talented amateur?, Some say so! This blog, is not an accident, but a gift, from my daughter...who just happens...to believe in me!
